I bought some cheapish grow lights off Ebay, chinese stuff. TBH I've stopped using them as I'm not convinced they are safe, they have strange three pin plugs with no fuse.

Bless you @Busy-Lizzie for being a devoted Grandma. I am sure that you will be happy to get home and fingers crossed the weather is kind so you can potter in your garden.

Bonemeal/Growmore/Chicken Pellets
I remember from when I was a kid, in the videogame minecraft, if you right click with the bonemeal on a small tree it will instantly become a mature 10m tree. So use it carefully!!!

Solved
Please identify this bush/shrub/dwarf tree?
I bought a couple of these. The first season after planting, the leaves were completely demolished by caterpillars. Rather put me off replacing them.
