any tips for rain and outdoor plants in containers ?

Help With Growing Seeds
I think you end up with stronger plants by overwintering, maybe just my thinking, long time since I've grown them. Tbh.Fox gloves and wallflowers are a bit tougher IMO.

I too took the opportunity to wander around the garden in the late afternoon and collect woody stuff to chop up small and put in the general waste. Again this year there will be no green waste...

Has anyone planted a decorative garden only with edibles?
Sunflower seeds make quite nice microgreens, I used ones for birdseed, much cheaper! Batchelors dried peas are the best for pea shoots.
