There are red/orange floweing Cytisus you could complement your currant one.Goumi berry / Eleagnus Multiflora is semi evergreen, in colder winters itll drop leaves. It has a decent berry crop....

Has anyone planted a decorative garden only with edibles?
All my plants are edible but I wouldn't say they are decorative and some have never fruited eg my figs Some plants just constantly die eg my cranberries

Collared Doves are not at all common around here so three on next door's roof was a surprise as I hardly ever see two. They have been declining Nationally over the last 20 years.
