Ah ha! Often gold refers to yellow leaves, but I could see that one has lovely greenery. (I am not a fan of yellow foliage in general.) The name referring to the stamens makes more sense than the fruit, as you get the gold and crimson together!

I do think there is an argument for forecourts imposing a minimum spend, depending on tank size. Mine holds about £35 worth, so my minimum spend should be £20. That would stop those only topping up a dribble making the queues longer.
