This weekend is primarily taken over by looking for a new (used car) but I have been doing a bit of selected watering and I plan to rejig the position of a rose and a berberis.@Perki whenever I want to rehome a plant, I ask my partner to post on a local Facebook group ("Seaham Have Your Say")...

It may depend on how cold it got. Some may have gone dormant and will come back when the weather picks up. It's worth just leaving them until April but start off some new ones. Don't cut them to check as it may shock them.

Good morning all.I posted photos of the floods in the fields near my French house @Ladybird4, maybe the little river at the bottom of my meadow. My garden doesn't flood, it's higher up and on a slight slope but water runs underground towards the river so the middle of the lawn and the flower...

Been to B&Q today went for some bitumen paint but come away with some cyclamen coum, I've been after some white ones for years just never wanted to pay the rather expensive price they are for a single plant. Looks to be a 2 or 3 plants per cell hopefully, I'll divide them up and plant them half...

@Michael Hewett the birds didn't eat the berries on my pyracantha this year either. So much so I have had to remove them as they were going bad.

I've just brought the last 1/4 sack of last years Sarpo Mira crop home. They have kept well in the Allotment shed. I do have some Anya as well but they have long shoots and are going soft so I don't think they are usable.

Not a garden as such but this morning we visited the South West Orchid Society Show. As usual some superb plants and many are SO big the growers must have HUGE areas to grow them in. Some lovely scents and the different colours and structures of the flowers were amazing. A really friendly group...

We have to constantly rearrange the tunnel entrance to our Hhog feeding station due to 2 cats which come in overnight. They are a real nuisance and I wish their owners would ensure their cats would remain in their own gardens.

Like anything else it depends on the usage but I'd say we have used more over the last few months than previously. Our tank holds 1000 litres and we bought 600 litres to top it up in January. Nearest estimate is probably 400 litres used since then which is higher than normal. Boiler does both...
