Bizarre location isn't it? I've not seen any recent reports of that roost still being used but then I'm not as active on the birding scene as I used to be.

Not here @simone_in_wiltshire, it behaves well in my dry, sandy soil and I like the fact that it is evergreen, grows in shade and flowers prolifically in spring. I have others elsewhere which help to bind the soil on my bank and keep weeds at bay. A very useful plant for the right soil and place.

We were just over 14c since noon with sun and cloud plus a sharp breeze. Currently 13,8c. We often hold the same temp all afternoon.

I added a couple more bags of bark to my sunny border which is now complete, tidied the bed at the bottom of the steps and planted another Saxifrage. I removed a few self seeded Erigeron before they take over and fed my two roses.
