I only kept the ragwort because it had self seeded from somewhere, wasn't doing me any harm so thought why not leave it.I always think to do really good for wildlife you need to plant things on...

Not here @simone_in_wiltshire, it behaves well in my dry, sandy soil and I like the fact that it is evergreen, grows in shade and flowers prolifically in spring. I have others elsewhere which help to bind the soil on my bank and keep weeds at bay. A very useful plant for the right soil and place.
