Nothing today so stormy. Yesterday cleared some more low lying ivy. What a job. Moved some cypripedium pots that aren't doing so well. Cut back branches of a magnolia grown from seed. Flowering now but very few. Clearing an area for a different magnolia (genie). Hope it does well.

Even though we put the trail camera near the release box, no sightings of the hedgehog. The food has been taken. So today we have set the camera for all day to find who is eating the food....

i think depends on your area as if the insects are already around small amounts can still be found and used. most of what im planting is around in the area already just not in the village anymore
