We also had a windy and wet night so everything was sodden. However the sun did come out mid morning so started to spread manure all round my front garden roses and clematis. Had to dodge several...

i think depends on your area as if the insects are already around small amounts can still be found and used. most of what im planting is around in the area already just not in the village anymore
