Is it not killed by normal weed and feed products? But I would agree in making the lawn less susceptible by improving the conditions for the grass over the weeds.

She's amazing I would definitely be feeding her as you are . I've just read on Wikipedia that they over winter as adults and eggs hatch in April, in the soil.
