Phormium which one
Phormiums can suffer in cold, wet winters, especially if you have clay soil. I thought of Yucca as an alternative too. They have an upright, less arching habit so might suit you better.

I am really pleased with my living spring wreath! Tete a tete, muscari, primroses, violas and sundry spring greenery. It's wired onto the trellis where I can see it from the kitchen. Pic tomorrow, when/if it stops raining! Excellent value at £30. AND my mattock has arrived.

Am i understanding this correctly ?
It didn't strike me that way at all. Just someone asking for advice, concerned about doing the wrong thing for their plants. In my book that is being sensitive to a plant's needs.

Things that have made you happy today 2026
After a frustrating afternoon last week, finding our way through the on line rigmarole to renew OHs driving licence, the new one arrived in seven days! Very efficient.

What's your weather like 2026
It has been a mixed day here. Sun all day and up to 21c but a nasty North wind all day gusting to 42kph making it chilly and needing a cardi. Still sunny and windy now, 19.9c.
