Well I just had a bit of luck, I went out to retrieve my neighbour's bin and discovered it has not yet been emptied so obviously across the Lane has been done but the Cres I'm in has to be cleared yet. I was able therefore to get my general waste bin out for emptying. I tracked down my door...

Yes its the big sowing month for me also, I've chitted the sweetcorn earlier this year, not up yet. Tomatoes for outside growing, some zinnias, castor oil plants, a lot of my plants are grown each year from divisions these days, so not as much seed sowing as I used to.

I've got lots of Osteospermums outside in pots against the house wall. These little inside ones are cuttings that have rooted over winter, so not used to coping with everything the weather throws at them yet.

I've always been disappointed with Attenborough's programmes as I know he is basically an animal person, but his life on earth series rarely went into the plant life of the planet in any kind of detail. I find his whispering voice slightly off putting.
