Another cool day here with more cloud and still that cold wind blowing. OH has been outside all morning using his mega strimmer on wheels to cut grass in the veg plot and then the started on the rest. Had to stop between 12 and 2 so pottered about and had lunch then another hour of work...

Big month here too. Just got the runner beans and courgettes started, and a tray of basil that'll probably take forever as usual. Trying a few different squash varieties this year so we'll see how that goes.

I've always been disappointed with Attenborough's programmes as I know he is basically an animal person, but his life on earth series rarely went into the plant life of the planet in any kind of detail. I find his whispering voice slightly off putting.
