I just don't like leaving thing open if i'm not going to use it, not worred about my foot print it's more about leaving an account open when i'm gone as i don't have anybody that will close it...

Weeding around the rhododendrons and azaleas, ordered another one of each, this year hopefully can look after them better by watering and putting a mulch around them.

Big month here too. Just got the runner beans and courgettes started, and a tray of basil that'll probably take forever as usual. Trying a few different squash varieties this year so we'll see how...

Yes a moat is probably better, but I am so clumsy I'd probably knock everything and end up with water everywhere. Also you need to be very sure that the pot doesn't already have a slug population....
