Rose flowers not fully opening.
Thanks for your advice, It's more likely to have happened due to my lack of knowledge watering the plants than Thrips as I haven't noticed any wildlife living on my roses.

My neighbour bought 1, a few years ago, came home triumphant, "I bought a Rose can you pot it for me" had a cursory look pronounced life extinct, she went back to shop and got her £1 back.

Think you'r right. 2 of the bushes on closer inspection are camellias . And the third, photo I've put on , be fair , I certainly had that down as a rose bush. There are 3/4 different colours !...
