As I have a few minutes to spare I thought I would bring up a contentious subject although I don't have any proper details yet. :heehee:

There is a month to go (27th March) before the census. I understand that it will ask lots of questions about you and your household that you may consider very intrusive. According to the law you must fill in the census.

    Will you do it?

I always enjoy filling in questionnaires and have great fun interpreting the meaning of the questions. :heehee:

As an example: many years ago when I received a business census that I was compelled to complete they asked for what percentage of the turnover was in each category of retail items. Some of the items I sold were contraceptives. I classified them as menswear. :loll: :loll:

A few years back there was a "buzz" on the net about the census, it was about religeous beliefs, the buzz was that everyone should write in "Jedi" because if a certain ammount of wrote that then it would have to be named as a recognised religion.

So many did (including myself) and Jedi is now a recognised religion!! "The census, fill you must young Jedi"

The second I saw the word Census, I thought, Luke will be on that thread, I could sense it.

So if all of us at GC put down Gardening as a religion, recon that would sway it ?

You mean gardening is not a religion??? I always pray for it to be a good Spring and Summer, I pray for all my seeds to germinate, I pray for all my plants to crop, and I pray for the birds not to use me for bombing runs when I'm on my knees weeding - and now you're telling me it's not a religion!! May the Force be with us all.

I just love the way the Census is being "put over" to us. It's for a bigger and brighter Britain!! - and all that Jazz! I'm going to have great fun filling it out.

I don't know about condoms being menswear, Shiney. In the RAF we used to have competitions trying to drink a pint of beer out of them, were we doing it wrong??
