I'm Stu, I live in Bradford, West Yorkshire with my girlfriend and three daughters.
I don't spend much time in the garden but hopefully that's about to change, most of my back garden is lawned, easy to keep up to, apart from the weeds, especially the horrible bind weeds that won't go away.
I have taken a few cuttings from some low bush Blueberry plants growing wild on Ilkley Moor, I have them in ericaceous composted pots, three of them still have bright coloured leaves but the others have gone a reddish brown, I hope I'm not too late to save them.
I am also attempting to grow herbs, all in trays at the moment, probably ready to be transferred to the ground now.
I am thinking of planting a plum tree but will need to do a little research on my garden's suitability first.
