Yes me too. I'm using mobile 4G. It seems to come and go. One minute ok, next really slow.

It is hellish this morning - I've done a bit of digging and apparently Cloudflare had another issue yesterday and have applied a fix that they are now monitoring, but given the speed we are seeing GC run at, I'd suggest that their fix hasn't worked. I've re-reported it as DNS issue.

Yes I'm seeing the really slow behaviour again now. Makes sense that it's the hosting system at fault.

Cloudflare really need to get their house in order as they are the hosts for all sorts of infrastructure, including banking etc - whilst this is frustrating for us, can you imagine what the likes of Tesco and M&S are seeing with stalled/slowed transactions, especially given the volume of transactions they will be seeing at this time of year...

Likes and smileys have to 'call' a database to produce the image - whilst the image file size itself is small, it is that 'call' to the database that is the problem and to be honest that was the biggest clue for me that it was a DNS issue.

When you come across an issue like this, it's always worth trying some other websites and comparing the speed. If you find other sites that are working OK, you know the problem isn't with your laptop or internet connection.
