Yes @Verdun I've heard about it and have read up a bit about it. Not sure if I would want it, as with all piercings you could get a bacterial infection and hearing is a precious thing. My oldest son complained of pain in his ear way back when he was 15 Drs said it was nothing, after a few days he couldn't stand up as he had lost his balance , we took him down to A&E and they found that he in fact had a raging bacterial infection ( not from a piercing I grant you) and the damage done was permanent ...he has significant hearing loss in his ear now. So no we don't take any chances now!

            Aloha everyone,

Yesterday went well. The food was greatly appreciated by the students (they all mentioned it in their feedback forms :pathd:) and after I had done the cooking and the washing up I had all afternoon to work in the glorious sunshine. I did mainly digging and weeding and the ground is perfect for that.

More students today but, from a gardening point of view, sorting out lunch will give the light frost a chance to burn off so that I can work out there in the warmth.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

                      Good morning everybody :)
Looks like the warmest day yet
A visit...and a chat...to my local nursery later this morning to get a white camellia. It will be an addition to my niece’s garden poss tomorrow:)
I will also grab more compost...this time to add to a stockpile of it to use for spring planting. Will aim to take a photo or two later too
Will sow lettuce and cosmos seed if enough time:)
