Expansion joints are rarely needed for something like this unless the concrete is to meet other structures. A freestanding slab doesn't really need it particularly in a greenhouse situation.

Giving plants as xmas presents
The shops always have arrangements of plants in baskets or whatever, trimmed up with ribbons/bows/general glittery tat, and they seem to sell well. I fear most of them will barely last longer than...

My cuttings of Chocolate Drop are overwintering quite well so far. The sweet peppers went in today. So I popped in a few micro dwarf seeds into the propagator to keep them company.
