Potato growing 2026
I seem to get a reasonable crop off of the ones I missed the year before, just makes me wonder if the drying out through the winter is not the best of things for a seed potato tuber.

@pete Coming from Siberia for a milder winter they will enjoy our 'cold' weather.Unbelievably at 4c a single Wall Lizard was on the south wall of Durlston Castle in the freezing wind and weak sun.

These are micro dwarves which only reach around 30cm so they'll be happy on or near the windowsill for months. The cuttings will probably be lopped back at least once to keep them under control...

Suggestions for the Christmas present from hell as far as I’m concerned
How about putting it somewhere that is very visible to them but not constantly in your line of site and planting a few fake vines over the edges of the thing to make it look like they are growing...
