Re talking too fast:- I used to get speakers for business organisations and told them in advance that if they spoke to fast we would only pay them half their money. It worked in every case but one where that one told me in plain English what they thought of my restriction.

Just watched episode 4 of The Night Manager. It's very tense, but not very enjoyable, IMV. No humour, no lightness of touch, no fascinating characters. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what is lacking, but something is.

I've no real experience of ticks but they get quite big once they a full of blood and pretty unmistakable.
