I was at the Wales Botanic Gardens yesterday and was stopped in my tracks to find the source of a fragrance… it was a Daphne bholua. I didn’t notice the variety but it had a profusion of pale pink blooms. It would need to be planted close to where you would walk.

I am going with some sort of Cotyledon orbiculata but I already have one of these and the leaf shape is the same but grey leaved with a floury surface. More digging needed I think!!
