They have pushed the price of getting rid of rubbish up so high that this kind of thing becomes profitable, along with dumping the odd lorry load down some country lane.Or as certain houses do around here, just throw it in the front garden of better still just outside the front fence.

How does an escaped gardening glove work it's way down to the bottom of the wheelie bin? And whose bright idea was it to make gardening kit green or brown? That would be fine for 2 or 3 years so long as you keep them watered in hot weather. Terracotta pots dry out faster than plastic ones. Don't forget to feed them either. Ideally 60cm pots would be better for bigger roses but the David Austin website says from 45cm. Do you have a patio big enough?
