@Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.

I wonder can that be classed as our native two spot ladybird? X

Still raining here, but not torrential, just steady, 4 degrees with a bit of a breeze, the farmers fields are mostly under water near the local rivers, don't really understand why they still sow Autumn Barley, a lot gets spoiled most years now, be better growing grass for grazing and silage.

Germination is not as good as previous years, second sowing gone in.

I've simplified this year. Foremost, Charlotte and Sarpo Mira. Set to chit.

New addition to the sowings; an F1 cross of Bloody Butcher and Latah. Expecting regular leaves and smallish red fruit but the rest is yet to be seen.
