Well light rain continuous all day and more coming, not a hint of brightness. Although the nights are supposedly getting lighter I find I'm still putting the lights on around 4pm just as I was before Christmas.

That is so true, re the cost of getting jobs done these days, I’ve often thought I’d recommend any relatives thinking of following me career wise, to look at plumbing instead! I’ve changed the bed and put one load of washing on, tidied another drawer, and sorted several files in my finances...

Had exactly that scenario with the sofas, @Ladybird4! I’d just walked in accompanied by two friends I’d invited to dinner. The dinner was already cooking on the automatic timer, so I popped the prepared apple crumble in the oven, while we did our best to restore some order and create somewhere...

@Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.

I wonder can that be classed as our native two spot ladybird? X

Thank you @JennyJB Dewi's is on a wooden stick and he enjoys chewing it, it's full of teeth marks along the whole of its length. He's got two actually - one upstairs and one down
