Had exactly that scenario with the sofas, @Ladybird4! I’d just walked in accompanied by two friends I’d invited to dinner. The dinner was already cooking on the automatic timer, so I popped the prepared apple crumble in the oven, while we did our best to restore some order and create somewhere...

Took advantage of the drying windy weather and pruned the roses and the gooseberry bush. I hate pruning roses I've been savaged by the pair of Harlow Cars!

Still windy and raining. So dark.Not many golfers out on the course these days, but the groundsmen have got their machinery out. Looks like the grass is getting a good spiking.Heavy rain tonight, but a miracle has happened - a forecast with some sunnyish days next week.

Thank you @Michael Hewett, your garden sounds very much like my previous garden. I think the best gardens develop over time and with the gardener, without a strict plan .

@Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.

I wonder can that be classed as our native two spot ladybird? X
