Thanks, I have often wondered about whether it happens. I know it is possible to spend silly money on rare snowdrops, and if these might not stay true, it would be a risky investment.

It looks as though you must have grabbed it all! I always take photos of snow and have none at all in 2018. I reckon the Dartford crossing must have been closed so it couldn't get to us.

I bought a couple of these. The first season after planting, the leaves were completely demolished by caterpillars. Rather put me off replacing them.

I (female though with medium hands) got Wilko gauntlets which were excellent against thorns and not too big. Range have taken over the Wilko brand, so might stock them
