A new year, and I am still picking herbs each week!This week, we have rosemary (one plant is starting to flower!), winter savoury and bronze fennel.

My seeds are germinating at a crazy rate! I've got loads of room in my cellar tents. They have heat mats and lights and fans and I can burp/exhaust the tents using an air duct fan.It's too chilly down there to not have heat. The two 24x48 inch mats are controlled by inkbird thermostats....

I also grow Miscanthus Morning Light and Miscanthus Zebrinus as well as Calamagrostis Karl Foerster (on Plantminded's advice) all in pots about the same size as yours They all seem to be thriving and the Miscanthus have survived being divided last year.

If you follow the advice given above re ensuring the containers are able to drain well and raise the containers off the ground so excess water can run out, there is little more you can do whilst the rain continues other than providing some form of cover for each container. A few sticks in each...

I've never had success with a bag when air layering so will be fun to see if those gizmos work

All my plants are edible but I wouldn't say they are decorative and some have never fruited eg my figs Some plants just constantly die eg my cranberries
