What are we doing in the garden 2026
Of course I jinxed the weather saying how nice it was yesterday. I managed a little bit of pruning out crossing branches in my nectarine and then the rain poured down!

What's your weather like 2026
Down here in Kent, the weather station in my garden has recorded 218mm of rain so far this year (as at 13th Feb). Last year, we reached that running total on 5th June!!

Help With Growing Seeds
I've often looked at Ali express but never bought anything, the pricing always looks ridiculous and there has to be a catch. Probably 99p for the article and £10 P&P.

Partial screening suggestions
We love our Mahonia ‘soft caress’ which isn’t prickly at all, but might not grow tall enough. Ours is between 1m to 1.5m Similarly Nandina. I can’t remember the variety we have, but it’s trouble free.

Has anyone planted a decorative garden only with edibles?
All my plants are edible but I wouldn't say they are decorative and some have never fruited eg my figs Some plants just constantly die eg my cranberries

Collared Doves are not at all common around here so three on next door's roof was a surprise as I hardly ever see two. They have been declining Nationally over the last 20 years.
