    What's your weather like 2026

-2c was the forecast for tonight but it’s now +4c and heavy rain. I didn’t go out, it was too cold and to windy. Thankfully, I have no dog that forces me to walk in days like today.

    My Garden Progress

I found that Phlox is pretty much bullet proof. If it was me, I'd dig it up, rinse all of the soil from the roots. Pull all of the grass and then re-plant the phlox. I think it would forgive you.

    Ideas for shady front garden....

If you did decide to remove your grass areas @machtucker, Hakonechloa makes good ground cover. I have it planted under an Acer in my lower garden shown below in summer, autumn and winter.
