@Palustris I'll wait for it to flower. It's wedged itself between a geranium and a veronica. If it behaves like the lesser jobs, it's unlikely to do any harm.

I've got a few seeds just outside in pots, been there all winter, hopefully they will show around April or May, if not they will stay for at least one more winter before I give up on them.

Our cats are regularly treated with the spot on stuff which is said to kill tics too. So far I haven't seen any. A tip I heard was that if you don't have a tic remover you can smother them with vaseline which stops up their breathing holes. they eventually drop off.

I have never understood the appeal of a red velvet cake. It's just a basic, boring sponge witha smattering of cocoa powder and red food colouring.
