    A mostly sunny day - opened plenty of windows and the humidity in the house has dropped nicely. It started to cloud over at sunset so not planet-watching friendly unfortunately.

    How much can a single grub eat? I discovered a rootless geum. When I turned out the pot, there was only one grub. Was he voracious or have the others moved on?

    I've never had newts so I guess it balances out, but the frogs are making a big comeback here after a few years of not so many, I think there was a virus a few years ago.
