I cut up and stacked a lot of branches too big for the shredder; and then moved a pile of rocks to a more convenient spot and dug up creeping buttercup. Sowed the tomato seeds and started sowing some of the perennial and annuals that need a bit of heat.

Ah ha! Often gold refers to yellow leaves, but I could see that one has lovely greenery. (I am not a fan of yellow foliage in general.) The name referring to the stamens makes more sense than the fruit, as you get the gold and crimson together!

I can understand that @simone_in_wiltshire, your plant is still young so the fronds are less tightly packed than mine. I had double the usual amount of fronds last year so the crown is quite crowded.
