That's right, I have them in my garden, they come in from the hedgerows. I leave them in odd corners because they're pretty and brighten the place up, but I get rid of lots too.

It does seem that things are blooming earlier this year. Fritillarias are in bud and lots of magnolias are looking magnificent. I'm waiting for a Beast from the East to singe them all! Mind you...

would upgrading to 36v Ryobi mower stop it slowing down
I suspect that you could achieve the result required with usimg half the width of cut.Its likely that the first time over has tougher growth ,later cuts will have more sap .

...just be aware of the effect of salt water runoff buildup affecting other plants nearby... It might just be easier to use unsalted water from a kettle - perhaps if you have a little left over...
