Snowflakes and daffodils

I've grown lemon drop for a few years now. They are very prolific once they get going and I save some seed each year. I tend to use them whole, after rpicking witha darning needle, in bottles of olive oil for cooking or salad dressings and I remove the pith and seeds of others before chopping...

@lizzie27 I was surprised to see them this morning as when I last looked they didn't appear to be that far on. However I've had a virtually frost free winter only three mornings when the car window would have needed scraping and all the other spring bulbs have been equally early.

Just checked and Sun Gold, Black Opal and Campbell 33 have germinated.

@LunarSea I have been to the medical centre this morning and there are two trees just behind the medical centre; one conifer and one deciduous. I don't know if that is where the wagtails roost.

Been to B&Q today went for some bitumen paint but come away with some cyclamen coum, I've been after some white ones for years just never wanted to pay the rather expensive price they are for a single plant. Looks to be a 2 or 3 plants per cell hopefully, I'll divide them up and plant them half...

Not a garden as such but this morning we visited the South West Orchid Society Show. As usual some superb plants and many are SO big the growers must have HUGE areas to grow them in. Some lovely scents and the different colours and structures of the flowers were amazing. A really friendly group...

It makes me laugh when products are made healthier by reducing the amount you get. Walkers crisps, now 20% less fat, well yes because there's less in the bag.
