Nice and sunny today so I did some weeding, then stacked loads of the cut down berberis hedge branches against the boundary ugly breeze block walls in an effort to hide them and provide a bugs habitat. OH shredded the thinner branches so ended up with two useful trugsfull.

Only a few karminka germinated, next to the lidl seeds. I'll take these down to the allotment greenhouse at the weekend. I've started more karminka seeds and some old walla walla ones in my boiler room, will see if any come up ok with the added warmth. I assume it's still not too late for them....
