the vine weevil specific one is acetamiprid which is more hazardous than deltamethrin and should be respected. apply at least 3 months before any flowering as the flowers become poisonous to bees. also wear gloves and dont put the residues down the drain

They are Euphorbia obesa, they're not cacti but they belong to the Euphorbia family - Euphorbiaceae, and are xerophytes, i.e. they grow in arid places. That's why they resemble cacti. I used to have a nice one but it died a few years ago. I keep looking for another ...

i think depends on your area as if the insects are already around small amounts can still be found and used. most of what im planting is around in the area already just not in the village anymore
