We have a number of different size (four sizes I think, but may be five) dinner plates accumulated during the over 60 years we have been married. The biggest ones are square (M&S), and the next size are some beautifully decorated Japanese ones given to us by the daughter of a friend who died.

Is that a beech tree? I saw one in the park that had come down in the wind a few days ago, massive tree and the whole thing had shattered when it hit the ground, the wood was totally infested with fungus. Beech seems to go that way.

I put some of those in about three weeks ago, getting their true leaves now, I do find they need a longer growing season than the smaller types, and ripening can be slow, but worth the effort.
