I always make sure I have cash ( notes and coins ) to hand - it's the best way for the local egg and veg. places which only use "honesty boxes". How does one define "legal" beggars as opposed to "illegal" ones ? Donating to registered local charities is the safest way I find- usually at least.

Evening everyone.I’ve been busy today - gardening, my walk and making some cakes for an event tomorrow. I’ve done some carrot cake cupcakes (Grandma’s recipe with a few tweaks) and some latte cakes (basically coffee and vanilla). The event is being run by my Sister - a skin care and relaxation...

Good to see somebody else does these too. Have been surprised to find these are quite frost hardy; the earliest sowing were planted outside and have mainly survived the winter.

Osmocote slow release pellets & superphosphate ??

For years I always used Robinsons Mammoth, then I used some seed I got free with a magazine(Red Baron) which we liked, I think next year I will go back to the Mammoth seed.

These plugs arrived a few days ago, very healthy. The other cells will get tomatoes
