Yes its the big sowing month for me also, I've chitted the sweetcorn earlier this year, not up yet. Tomatoes for outside growing, some zinnias, castor oil plants, a lot of my plants are grown each year from divisions these days, so not as much seed sowing as I used to.

I've only ever used it myself as a soil improvement. You can usually only get it in bulk, not really looked to see if you can get it in bags.

...sure, yes - because they attract slugs, don't always work, need to be replaced, leave a mess, cost money and resources, when a moat is simpler and more effective.

2 of the 4 Puffins at Dancing Ledge, very distant. Unfortunately the numbers are getting less and they haven't bred for many years so they will eventually die out.
