Nope, the mk6s dont rust..... only probs are the fuel pumps. The old transits were shocking for rust but the build of the mk6 is totally different to the old style.Asside from the old transits the worst vans for rust ive seen is on sprinters and vitos.

or how about using push fit plumbing connectors, like these you can get a few different diameters and get corners, t pieces, straight connectors etc. you can get them from any plumbers merchant or from b&q, homebase, focus etc
