Being only £30 cashback I guess you didn't get it from Amazon who were giving away a free 40mm 2.8 with it earlier this month and some people claimed the £30 cashback for the camera, plus £25 for the lens and also got £35 bonus cashback for buying 2 applicable items? (also had a free tripod as part of the deal)

              Hiya WOO:)

Just had a nose at the spec of the Canon. It seems to have a relatively small sensor, 1/3". Any thoughts/comments?

Good evening Freddy my friend,no comments really,I'm not at at all technical ,I leave that side of things to our friend Armandll who's knowledge is outstanding, and if I have any questions about sensors or anything on the technical side he has always happily supplied the answers for me:) I'm more of a get out there and enjoy all the aspects of photography ,I find that catching a bird in flight is almost magical as is the close up shot of a flower. This is by far the best camera I have had(but then I've had some rubbish);) It fits nicely in my hand , does all I ask of it and gives me a confidence that no other camera ever has,I find the colours are outstanding sharpness is excellent through out and noise is almost non existent even with high ISO ,my apologies for my lack of comments on your sensor question Freddy but I really don't have the technical knowledge ,now if you want to know anything about night flying I'm your owl;)

                  Hiya WOO:)

Actually, I think I got that wrong. I think the sensor size was referring to a video camera. Having looked again, it looks like the sensor is roughly 22mm x 15mm, which I imagine is a pretty good size. Out of interest, does it have a good clear viewfinder? (I don't mean the screen)

I almost went for the 600D but opted for the Nikon D5200 a couple of weeks ago.
Still need to apply for the £50 cashback on it.

                        Oops..I made a blunder...its the 650D I have...lol

In my defence, I will say that it says what it is on the front of the camera, and I always look at it through it from the back...lol

Think my memory might be going along with the years...

                        Steve...:)

Hi Steve yes I looked at the 650D apart from touch screen just a few subtle differences, but I am a happy owl with my 600D;)

Yes Woo..still a damn good camera...if I did not have the new one, I would quite happily continue using my 400d, same model, just older...but takes cracking photos none the less.

The 400d is going up for sale in Jan as I can only use one camera at a time.

                          Steve...:)
