I'm just gearing up to tackle my new back garden, which is over run with dock leaf. It seems my options are to either, get a pig or get to diggin. I wanna plant some seeds i've sowed this spring, so I think that discounts using weed killer. This is my first proper gardening attempt, so wish me luck!

But anyway, Also wanted to say hello! Look forward to joining some discussions.

Good evening Nick and welcome to the site. Don`t be afraid to use Glyphosate, you can sow seeds once it`s dried on the foliage.:gnthb:

:thumb: Hi Nick & [IMG].. I agree with Dia, don't be afraid to use it now as it will help you tremendously surprised as the year progresses with it's effects.. Don't be surprised if you have to spray a 2nd time as docks are very determined but you will wipe them out no problem... :thumb: Looking forward to seeing you around..!! :thumb:

Heh, They're not proving to be as big of a job as I initially thought. I spent half the morning cursing at them as I forked them up... but then I ran my hand through some nettle and I was glad to have an abundant supply of dock leafs to rub on myself lol.

    Thanks for the welcomes!
