    Good evening,
I have been gardening for quite a few years but am looking forward to getting lots of excellent advice on plants I may not be familiar with. I live north of The Border so not the easiest of climates but still able to grow some nice plants suited to where I live.

              Welcome @hailbopp :dbgrtmb:

We tend to shorten members names to initials quite often. I hope that if I refer to you as HB you won't think I'm being pencillist  :heehee:

Ha Ha @shiney. Maybe you would consider shortening yours to shi ..... there again maybe not, might be a little tempting for others to add extra consonant to that:heehee:. Unfortunately I am of an age when our school teachers would instruct us to get our HB’s out, now I suppose it is tablets. Hang on a minute, maybe that was what the Roman teachers said to their pupils!
Thank you for your welcome to Gardeners Corner, appreciated.
