    Hi everyone,

I bought a Polianthes Tuberosa a while ago and have waited patiently for growth.

Does anyone think like me that this is a Zantedeschia or similar. WP_20150602_003.jpg WP_20150602_005.jpg

Yes looks like one of the coloured varieties.
        It definitely aint Polianthes.

I was given a bag of Polianthes tubers from Parkers when I ordered some plugs a couple of weeks ago.
They are now poking through but I haven't a clue how long they will take to flower if at all!

                    Hi Strongylodon

I saw that offer as well but decided against it as everything I've had from them except for Roses has died or not even bothered to grow in the case of bulbs.

Whenever I've grown Polianthes they usually flower in mid summer, if under glass, infact I dont think you stand much of a chance outside with them.
                    They like heat.
They do get a bit leggy, I find.

I agree totally. Ideal for a conservatory as they're so scented.

Yes, and strangely in the evenings and overnight.
