      Nice pic pip, not seen many all summer or Painted Ladies, now there are mainly Admirals and Peacocks.

      Looks like Sedum to me Trunky, I have one in my garden which is a very dark red. :)

      Sedum have such amazing flowers....seems to take forever to come along but when it does you forget all about the wait :heehee:

      It is indeed a sedum. divided many times over the years. Not a great many butterflies this year, small coppers, speckled wood, red admiral, peacocks, tortoiseshell and the ubiquitous cabbage white are the only species I have had in the garden.
