Weed q

    I have around 80 sq m of raised beds .... and they have suddenly developed an almost even blanket of green broad shaped leaved weeds.
    They are not vine like .. these are individual plants ... covering ground like a blanket.

    Never had this before - so wonder what they are and why now ?

    Started pulling them all up by hand .... but curious as to what they are.

      Hmm hard to tell but could be Fat hen or red dead nettle perhaps..

        It's a very pretty plant but probably you don't want it in your beds. :) If they don't have rhizomes they could be seedlings which would be easier to deal with. Or they could be different plants altogether... :scratch:

          I looked on line 'Ground Ivy' was the correct leaf shape .. but theses are individual plants not a creeper

            They look very much like the stuff growing in my garden. Grows rapidly but easy to pull out. I don't know what it is either.
