What's buzzing or flying near you 2025 ?
The 10 Glossy Ibis moved close to Wareham town this morning, feeding in the flooded fields by a public footpath a few 100yds from home. I just hope they stay around for the winter.

Suggestions for the Christmas present from hell as far as I’m concerned

Chillies 2025
Last year I had a load of small chillies that I left on the shelf over a radiator and forgot about for several months. They dried out beautifully.

Potato growing 2026
I seem to get a reasonable crop off of the ones I missed the year before, just makes me wonder if the drying out through the winter is not the best of things for a seed potato tuber.
