    Magpie attack! Magpies pulling strands from trees

    Happens every year with our Magpies, even our Blackbird has tried pulling Trachy fibres off. It does no harm to the plant to the plant all.

    It didn't strike me that way at all. Just someone asking for advice, concerned about doing the wrong thing for their plants. In my book that is being sensitive to a plant's needs.:)

    It was so miserable yesterday, I hid in the greenhouse, potting on overwintered rooted cuttings that were starting to complain, and sowing seeds. I still have to cover the seed trays or the mice nip off everything. Maybe I should sow some ricinus seeds I harvested last year - that might stop them!
