    Holly fern cyrtomium fortunei

    Now i'm thinking of planting all three plants together as one as they look better like that. Is this a good or bad idea?It would mean going back and buying another three to make another plant too :noidea:

    Mushroom compost

    I've only ever used it myself as a soil improvement. You can usually only get it in bulk, not really looked to see if you can get it in bags.

    I like the moat method for seedlings I sow in the greenhouse and it works well (I put the legs of the stand in water so I have more room) but you do get intrepid slugs that scale the greenhouse...

    I split the grass one the left, the fox survivor, in 2 in Autumn. One half went back, the other half went into the border in front of the bench. The one I took out got a Verbascum instead. :)...
